Dear Parent or Guardian,
The Columbia County School District is doing a phased rollout of a new bus transportation app called StopFinder, beginning in mid-January 2026. During this process, StopFinder will replace the current Parent Portal Lite app. StopFinder is designed to make it easier for you to access your child’s bus schedule anytime, anywhere. The app provides transportation details, direct messages to the Transportation Department, and customizable GeoAlerts. These alerts notify you when your child’s bus arrives or leaves designated locations like their stop or school, allowing you to set up zones for each student based on their route.
StopFinder is free to download from the App Store or Google Play Store. You will receive an invitation by email to register for the new app, approximately two weeks prior to your child’s school switching from the Parent Portal Lite app to StopFinder. You must complete the registration before you are able to access your child's bus schedule. We will use the email address already on file to set up your StopFinder account. If you need to update your primary email address, you can do so by logging into the Parent Portal app or by contacting your child’s school office before December 19, 2025.
If you have children at different schools, you might need to use both apps during this transition. Our goal is for all schools to use Stopfinder by the end of the school year. For any questions, please contact your school’s main office or the Department of Transportation.

NEW TO PORTAL?
- Once you login to parent portal click on the person icon in the upper right corner to check your email address.
- Select Settings, then Account Settings.
- Verify the email on Account Security Email. This is your contact email on file at the school. Password reset information for parent portal will be sent to this email as well.
- Campus Password is the password you use for parent portal.
- Looking for Report Cards? Click on Documents to see your students current and previous report cards for this school year.
